WHO Webinar: Applying One Health Approaches in Cities and Regions

The World Health Organization’s Regions for Health Network (RHN) and the WHO European Healthy Cities Network are co‑organizing a webinar titled “Applying One Health Approaches in Cities and Regions”, which will take place on 1 April 2026, 13:00–14:30 CET.

The session will explore how cities and regions can translate global One Health principles into practical, multisectoral action. With challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, antimicrobial resistance and vector‑borne diseases increasingly affecting local health systems, the webinar aims to provide practical tools, governance insights and real‑world examples to support subnational authorities in implementing One Health strategies effectively.

Speakers include representatives from ministries of health, regional authorities, WHO networks, academic institutions and environmental health organizations across Europe and beyond.

The webinar will also feature a Q&A session to facilitate interaction with participants.
