Board Members Elections 2018

The EMCA board, represented by some of the most experienced mosquito control professionals and scientists in Europe, strives to get young professionals and scientists involved in the running of this valuable association available to public and private bodies.

The Board is composed of 9 members.

The seven voting members of the Board are the acting President, the past President, the President-elect, and four members, all seven elected for a two-year term.  The two non-voting members of the Board are the Executive Officer and the Treasurer who are elected for a three-year term.

Meetings of the Board of EMCA take place once a year.

The time has come; four new board members for the period 2018-2020 have to be elected in order to inaugurate at the Annual General Meeting, which will be held in Speyer, on the occasion of the EMCA workshop 05-06/03/2018.

Timetable of  the ballots:

·        Proposal of candidates: 14/11/2017- 13/12/2017

·        Ballots: 18/12/2017-17/01/2018

·        Results: 19/01/2018

All members in good standing have the right to propose from one up to four candidates for the Board, including himself, and of course the right for vote.

The results will be announced to all members and published on our website.
